Alkyd-melamine bake clear coat used as protective coat over the printing on tin or steel or aluminium sheets

  • Colour: Clear.
  • Solids: 50 % + 1
  • Density: 1.027
  • Viscosity: 100 -120 sec @ 25 oC ( ford cup 4 )
  • Flash Point: 42 oC
  • Gloss level: > 85o @ the angle 60o
  • Application

  • Clear over print varnish for can coating, crown caps…
  • Coil coating application requiring ultimate flexibility and excellent over bake colour retention.
  • Conventional industrial enamel cured at 170-190.
  • Method of Application:

  • Spray or Roller coating
  • Recommended film thickness:

  • Wet: 10 – 17 g/m2
  • Dry: 4 – 7 g/m2
  • Mixing instructions:

  • Stir well before use
  • Tinning / cleaning instruction:

  • EGA, SOL150
  • Bake Schedule

  • 15 minutes @ 180 oC
